AK on Final table

This was a spot on the final table with 4 players left. The button was fairly active and the SB is a player I have played before and is really aggressive with a stack. They really do put you in some tough spots.

I had about 20 bigs and covered the SB so would have happily got it in against them. With this hand is it at an auto call given we think they could just be putting pressure on everyone?

I done the same to people last night with a big stack.
I think there range could be so big there.
Unless money was big jumps and the stacks were a lot shorter I would have to call personally but am only a noob :)

Calling and happy about it. Most players wouldn't play AA or KK this way, I think mostly he has pocket pairs and worse aces which we do great against
In most tourneys on sky there's an extra incentive to play to win than laddering as the winner gets bounties on top of the first place money and the jumps between 6th and 3rd usually aren't too big. If your thinking about folding AK here than your probably too tight!

I agree if you fold there you will lose money in the long run.

It's a snap call, having an AK yourself will mean his KK/AA odds are shorted.

His intent here will be to challenge that short stack himself to risk his full stack pre with a weaker ace or KQ rather than just giving him the flop, so it could be any high kicker ace or a mid pocket pair.

long term a fold will be the loss.
