Can't Open Lobby Mid Tournament. Disaster for bubble play and satellites.

It's a severe disadvantage to be unable to view the lobby during bubble play, the stacks of players on the other tables can make a powerful influence on how/ whether to play certain hands especially in satellites. Not being able to check the payout structure to see how many cash/ the payout structure is hugely disadvantageous and shouldn't be an issue.

    This has been an on going problem for years mate. I believe Sky know about it but haven't fixed it/scheduled a time to fix it yet. I agree totally though that it is frustrating when you cannot  open a lobby when multi tabling tournaments.

    The only thing you can do is open the web browser and view the lobby from there. The problem with that solution though, is you can only open so many lobbies before it closes one before you can open another.

    Fingers crossed, the new wave of tech guys might pick up on this thread/on going problem and implement a fix.

    Ty for the back up guys.
    Happened to me with 8 runners in speed £55 with 6 paid and couldn't see stacks of other table just knew I was 7/8 at the time. I lost on a standard ship I'd have made even If I could see the other tables stacks and the payouts but it's still a big issue.
    Ty for the alternative option on what to do if it happens again Max, but it shouldn't have to come to doing that.

    For me, it is always on the D/L. It occurs when you...
    a) Open a lobby multiple times or
    b) Have opened alot of lobbies over a period of time (for example, an evening) and it suddenly will not let you open any more. That is the time you need to open lobbies on the browser. I am partial to the odd AIPF sat and this happens quite often after I have played say more than 5 or 6.

    To replicate this problem, you will need to open a boat load of lobbies and keep a note of which ones. After closing them, try to keep opening and closing them until the system gives up the ghost. (I hope you are enjoying me using all the techy terms I can ;) )

    Any further news on this? Any more info required? With UKOPS fast approaching, it would be beneficial to all if a quick solution/fix can be found.

    The problem occurred for me again on Monday night when I had 5/6 MTT's on the go plus I had 7/8 AIPF sats lobbies opened and closed when they ran. I have stopped opening lobbies now until late reg has finished, but sometimes this doesn't make a difference.

    the only way ive found to resolve this problem midd game is  to actually close the game down and reboot your table ,not really want you want to be doing on the bubbe of a sat or late stages of an mtt..

    im always playing on the download client..

    I sometimes do this, but if you have 5/6/7 MTT's on the go, it can be a rush to close down/reboot and then open all your tables up again and set them up on your screen as they were previously......all in 5 MIN.

    Maybe an extended synchronised break button for us multi tablers? ;)

    This is still happening. Together with the lagging issues the site is experiencing, this must have something to do with memory/memory loss/memory overload of the software.

    There seemed a 'delay' in updating the lobbies during UKOPS while in play. Is this an attempt to address the lag situation?

    Plus the original problem of opening lobbies is still applicable. It may not seem an issue to many, but if playing many tables, it can be a hindrance to quite a few.

    Any feedback yet?

    Maxally's observation is what i thought lastnight.

    The lobby didnt update as instantly as usual. There was a few hands delay.

    Noticing the delay in updating the lobbies more and more now. So I will ask that question again.....Is this an attempt to address the lag situation?
