The six horses were with drawn so only three started the race  with the prices was worth a tenner on each as would of been up whichever won think the ground was way to soft for a lot of horses today

The league cup is ideal for backing lower league sides against premiership/championship sides. Let me tell you a rather painful story. About 5 years ago a very shrewd friend of mine told me to back 6 or 7 such teams in an early round and acca them up. I had the bet on my screen but needed to deposit money into my account and got caught up doing something else.

I travelled to Manchester to see a friend that night and got a call about 10pm. It was my friend who was now in a swanky rooftop bar overlooking Leeds city centre.

'Did you put that bet on? Tell me you did. I'm out with the boys now we're going crazy.'

I didn't put the bet on. It would have returned over £50,000 from a £10 stake.

He was a much bigger better than I was so I imagine he had at least £100 riding on it. He is now living in Australia.

So yeah, the league cup is a good opportunity!

    alright for some!!

I generally agree with that i tend to always back the underdog in the league cup, Im surprised just how strong the line ups are today though...

I have had a £20 treble on Newcastle, Southampton and Chelsea

I will also be having £5 on Carlisle at 33/1

Another night of cup woes lol bloddy Liverpool couldn't get the job done in 120 min śhocking 58 shots on goal and Newcastle might be worth having a bet on Steve McLaren  to be next manager sacked

Same. Should we be worried it's drifting slightly?

I had a tenner on Crazy Horse at 8/1 in the last so happy whatever now
