Live PLO8 Manchester 4th October

I know there are quite a few PLO8 players on here so hopefully some will be interested in this. 

4th October at 1pm - £25+£5 PLO8 with 10k starting stack and 30 minute levels.

It's in Manchester as part of the APAT held there. Not that many live PLO8 tourneys in the UK, and I haven't seen anything unde £200 since the Fox closed. Be good if there was a big turnout.

    I'd deffo be up for this I think. 1pm? So hopefully it finishes in time for last train. If not hopefully it means I've won it!

    Hope the dealers are up to scratch. 

    I'm convinced that the lack of live PLO8 (especially comps) has got to be down to each hand taking a level if the dealer isn't on the ball!

    Yeah the dealers definitely need to be good. It's a bit of a catch 22 though, to get more good, solid dealers, there needs to be more opportunities for them to deal the game. 

    The few times I've played live I've found most of the dealers to be competent. But that was almost all in a club that had a PLO8 comp once a month and also had regular HORSE so they had chances to deal more often. The main problems came from players trying to take control and/or berating dealers for mistakes.

    Not sure if I can say as they could possibly be thought of as a competitor to Sky. 

    If you google a few choice terms it'll pop up or look at the APAT site.

    The Fox was great
    Played my first ever live PLO8 tourney there (and cashed :-))
    Manchester is a bit far though :-(
