    Hi Mondo
Hhy isn't on the forum much at the moment. He says he can play pretty much any night. He doesn't have much of a life. If you say when would suit you I'll make sure he gets the message

    Thanks imber.

    Well that was epic!

I went into a quick 1-0 lead and was cruising along in the second game thinking how easy the game of poker was when all of a sudden imber got feisty!

Before I knew what was happening it went 1-1, then 2-1 to imber.

I was all-in for my tournament life a couple of times in the fourth game but managed to claw it back to 2-2.

And the final deciding game was a real see-saw battle. It really could have gone either way although fortunately for me, it went my way. :-)

3-2 to me then and a very good game from imber, who could easily have run out the winner as well.

Looking forward to the next round!

Vintage comeback from Mondo1985 to take it 3-2 after being 2 down.

I feel like Derby County, chucking away promotion last year.

All the best from here on in, be nice to be beaten by the eventual champ :)

    WP Richard Orford and mondo

ul imber - I guess you really do have to be careful what you wish for.

Anyone wanting Mr Orford in the next round, Imber will tell you where to leave the brown envelope.

OP has just been updated with all results to date.

    Thanks Phantom, really enjoying it.

Hopefully you'll be up for making this a regular thing and we'll be able to make the deadlines quicker to give it a bit more momentum. A fortnight should be plenty of time for a player to find 30 minutes for a HU game if they've put themselves forward for it in the first place.

My other thought was posting the draws as they happen, one at a time, on the forum. And then people can watch the TV version after if they like. Could be quite fun.

    Hi Rich.

Glad you are enjoying it and hope that isn't just results oriented.

Typing, filming, working the ball machine and commentating could be a bit much for me on one take. I suppose I could draw type and voice the commentary afterwards - but that takes longer in post production.

I might stream a future draw live - especially as we are down to a smaller field. You can do that via Youtube now.

As for gaps between draws, I take your point. 2 weeks might be a bit tight. 3 should be plenty. This last round took a while to start because I was too busy to get the draw done straight away

    Just beat jonnyrkd 3-0.

It was a lot closer than that sounds and the first two games went on for ages. I got the better cards. I had KK for two consecutive hands and his only luck was when he was really short stacked in the second game when he doubled up three times on the trot before losing in a 4th attempt.

Can I also add how much i have enjoyed playing this. I have met two really friendly guys that it was a pleasure to play.

Lol! I'm never results orientated. Just see my poker journal on this forum, where I only ever post when I've cashed... ;-)
