                         Hi Guys,
just thought I'd share my worst beat with you because I need to vent my frustration.
I was in a private 21-hander in my mates restaurant and it was a £50 freeze-out.At about 4a.m. we were down to 4 players and I had a very decent stack.
I pick up AKh on the button and UTG leads out(BLINDS-4K/8K) to 20k.I raise to 50k and SB n BB calls.Flop is As Ac Kd.The BB bets 1/2 pot and UTG folds,i call and SB folds.Turn is 9d and BB shoves!I snap it off because we had equal stacks and he thought he could scare me off the pot repping a flush, which he had with Q10d.
We turn our cards and he begins to grab his coat and went to shake my hand when the river flipped to show a Jd giving him straight flush!!
        Can anyone beat that sickner?
                                                    Jim
                                                         p.s.Also made me Bubble Boy : (

    PS
always worth negotiating a money back deal for the bubble boy/girl
    even if chip leader
    Normally doable in friendly tourneys

Surely this is a really bad strategy if we are CL? Best time to gain chips if we are CL.

If making money is our only concern then possibly.

But with smaller sized & lower buyin more rec orientated tournies then agreeing a money back bubble deal is generally appreciated by most of the table. also tends to speed the game up which means that you get a bigger spr when in the cash which gives one an advantage over a weaker field anyway. finally as cl you tend to get to choose how the deal is funded so it doesn't have to come off the top. often see £10 off each prize type deals. (and not agreeing the deal will lead to bad karma, if you believe in that sort of thing, and have you called a selfish b*stard behind your back, or even in your face depending on the alcohol consumption level)

                                             Hi,
Gotta agree with matt cos I was equal cl and low stack had 9 bigs.I quite rightly, thought I had a lock on the hand and had been running well through the game.At that I would never agree on a 4th pay-out,Karma or friendship, as we'd agreed on the pay outs and left an option that the last 2 could make a deal if they wanted to.
                                                                            Run well guys,
