NB: To avoid winning competitors sending funds to the charity bank account only to receive them back to make the donation to their charity, they are assumed to have paid and their contributions are shown in the "Via Comp" column below:
When all monies are collected the winning competitors will be sent the additional funds that are due to their respective charities. They will then make the total donation that is due to their charity and post a receipt to this thread. Hope this makes sense.

Morning Graham - good work Sir, though the job is not complete until everyone pays, of course.

Please send me your Bank Details by PM, & I'll ship the £50 across to you.

    ^^^^

Strike that Graham, I have your e-Mail now, which gives all the info I need except the Account Name.

Is the Account name EXACTLY as per your real name (i.e., name in full, not "Mr" or any initials)?

    Many thanks TK!

Just a little nudge guys, other than TK and my own friends and family, I am still awaiting payments from all other Sponsors. If you could please make the payment when you get a chance, that would be great.

    Thanks again for your support.

    Cheers,

No offence meant at all, I'm deffo not accusing you of anything untoward, but why don't people just donate to their respective charities themselves?

Feel free to tell me to stfu cos I ain't even involved, I just thought someone might be worried about speaking up themselves.

Many of us did not specify a Charity, & as Graham was doing all the work & banging the drum - & contributing handsomely himself - we left it to him to decide which Charity would benefit.

I (& many others) made a small donation, but would not have done so unless prompted by Graham's initiative.

Can the money not be sent via just giving pages (think they assist with gift aid as that's been a concern) and people can screenshot and send to you so we know the right amount of £ has been sent to the charities? Thinking if people have a just giving page, you don't have the hassle of sending and receiving and it might get some friends and family to send £ if they can see some others have already donated.

Hi Matt and Lambert, thanks for the feedback, it's not quite as straight forward as that, as most Sponsor's are contributing to the prize pool, which means their donation would be split 40/30/20/10 between the charities of the top four finishers, so they would need to make four payments and we wouldn't know who to until 2016.

The plan was to collect the payments and when the result was known, I would give the appropriate funds to each of the top four competitors for them to donate to their chosen charity in one go.

Yes gift aid is an issue which we discussed previously Matt.

    Cheers,

    Graham

As my mother still flicks through the forum from time to time, I don't want her to get flustered by this thread with the reminders in case she thinks she is overdue paying the money and has let anyone down when it is effectively still two and a half months early.  So I have made her donation for her as she was down as sponsor's charity.  Please find below the screen shot of the confirmation email I got from CenterPoint, the only thing I've cropped from it are my home address and the transaction number.  The later is available on request by SoG if needs be, the former is only available if you are either Audrey Hepburn or Claudia Winkleman.  I equalled her donation, just because, that's nothing to do with the money coming from me.  Please mark her down as paid up, she'll square with me at a later date.

Thanks Tommy, sorry if anyone felt pressurised to pay early, this was not the intention. I just wanted to get a start on it, in case there were delays in 2016.

I do appreciate that some people may not be comfortable with the process and it is absolutely fine to make their donations themselves and notify the thread.

However, clearly anyone that has contributed to "The Prize Pool" will not know which four charities to donate to, until 2016.

My suggestion would be for people to do whatever they are comfortable with.

Some people won't want to make four payments and others may be OK with it.

I was hoping that the collection process wouldn't be a drawn out affair throughout 2016, so if you are planning to donate yourselves in 2016 when the result is known, please update the thread accordingly. Just so I've got an idea who's planning to pay that way.

Many thanks again for your support and once again apologies if anyone has felt uncomfortable with the proposed process.

    Cheers Graham

P.S I know I can trust you Tommy, so no need for further proof.

Following on from previous posts, to facilitate different payment options, and for transparency.

Please find spreadsheet below of payments made and payment method used so far. I will keep this updated as payments and/or notifications come in.

Clearly people who have sponsored into the "Winner's Prize Pool" that want to pay direct to the charities concerned, can not do so until the results are known in 2016. However if that is your preference, it would be much appreciated if you could let me know for tracking purposes.

    Many thanks.

    Graham

Thanks MAXALLY and Rose, I can confirm that your payments have been received. Your support of this charity initiative is much appreciated.

Also, thanks for the kind words and good wishes for Punta Cana, I will be trying my best for sure.

Nothing to lose, if I do bust early, there are worse places to drown my sorrows :=)

Knowing my competitive nature, I won't go down without a fight at least.

All the best, good luck to you both at the tables.

    Bump for Lawson.

Hi guys, for those wanting to wait until the end of the year to make their payments. That's fine, however if you could just pop a post on this thread to let me know, that would be great.

It will just give me an idea of those that are aware of the payment collection details, so I can try other ways of contacting the remainder.

    Cheers,

    Graham
