    Hi Tim!

I'll be around tomorrow, and will be in the cafe near the casino at around midday. However, you're probably best emailing it to me.

By the way, Get your mob number deleted!

    See you tomorrow - JP.

I have got home and trying to play some UKOPS while I can. Though I didn't qualify through Sky this time I have to say Sky represented their players out there  better than any other site so well done JP and TK

    What an incredible trip.

Both Bromleys made it home and have the most intense post-holiday blues ever. My liver, on the other hand, is much happier to be home. As are my eyes, that still have the sight of Tikay flashing his underwear at me burned permanently onto them.

Thanks to Tikay and JP for their support and general hosting duties. Both went above and beyond the call of duty.

If we are lucky enough that this promo runs again next year, can I encourage as many of you to get involved as possible. You won't regret it if you bink a package.

Off to find a Strawberry Daiquiri to dip my hair into....

Hi, just echoing what the guys have said. Great holiday, lovely to meet you all, real camaraderie amongst the troops.

Look forward to next year, should I be lucky enough to get a seat again.

    Cheers,

    Graham

Hi Rose, I think Alvez finished 5th or 6th in that one, for about $3K.

He's a good lad, deserved it!

    Cheers,

    ^^^^^

Alvez, & that last Punta Cana sidey.

Yes, he finalled, but there was quite an interesting story to it.

Early in the final, two locals get in a pot, both deep-stacked, & before the flop is dealt, say something to each other in a foreign (non-English) language.

It then gets checked down, every street. On the river, the one last to act tables the flopped nuts, which held all the way.

A bit of a kerfuffle goes off, & "Floor" are called.

They give Mr Same Village Flopped Nuts a penalty, which is correct.

The "penalty" was to sit out for ONE orbit. Which was not correct. In what way is that a "punishment"?

And folks like Alvez had every right to be aggrieved, & may well have told the bloke so after his one orbit penalty. Except, during that orbit, Alvez busted. How "fair" is that?

Luckily, despite being a pro, & a very fine player, Alvez is a grown-up, & took it in his stride, as any grown up should.

Fair play to Alvez for taking it on the chin. A disgrace is what it is though!

There needs to be a clear cut rule on this. It is never acceptable to check the nuts on the river. What makes it worse is that this sounds like a clear case of collusion.

It was 100% collusion, not a shadow of doubt. Tough to argue though when overseas, in "their" territory.
