What does it actually mean when you recommend a player?

Ok on everyones profile it says Recommend and if you've been lucky enough to be recommended what does it actually mean? Also can you find out who recommended you too?

Have 5 people who have been mad enough to recommend me, not a clue why though.

    you think their input is worthy/good or you think they're a good poker player or you just like their posts or you like their avatar. any reason really. I don't think it means much to be honest with you. well, I hope not, otherwise Batesy actually has people that like him out there.
