I have too many too mention , but can any of you single one person out head and shoulders above the rest? Posted by maxaD
A lot of the young online players diss Phil Hellmuth but his record at the WSOP speaks for itself, and as far as promoting the game he is one of life's characters and like in any game or sport you need someone that stands out from the crowd. The darts player Jocky Wilson once said about Eric Bristow 'He's cocky, but he's good'. That to me describes Phil to a tee.
James Akenhead had a great run at one of the WSOP side events last year and has had a good start to this year in UK tournaments. It will be interesting to see how he does in Vegas again this year.

Was he the one that got HU with Grant (or Blair? lol) Hinkle and got it all in with AK vs 10,4 to lose vs quads?? That was fairly disgusting, especailly since he was blatantly outplaying him and could have easily taken the bracelet.

That's the one.
James has time on his side though, the defeat will do him good, & he'll berefit from it in the long-term. He has such a good game that he'll never have to work, so let's not feel too sorry for him. He'll be alright.
