Just reading back properly (brain was frazzled last night after I got beat up proper good), these PLO returns are stunning.

    67Bhoys, 9/10

    Vespa, 8/10

    Imber 6/6

    Pommy 3 from 3.

These are stunning. Are you guys really good at PLO, did you run good, or was the standard a bit flaky? 9/10, 8/10, 6/6, incredible.

What buy-in levels were these at?

Anyway, whatever the answer, congrats to each of you.

It is incredible seeing some of these run good figures. Well Done.
The £3 PLO (IMO and in my extremely limited opinion) would prove to be more profitable than the £3 PLO8 DYMs.
A lot of it really was any 4 pre-flop. Not just early levels, but when it comes to all or nowt. Your eyes will pop out at some of it.

    Cheers Tony,
Still learning PLO so jumped on the 60p tables.
Some very wide ranges being played, so just had to apply a good DYM strategy to overcome these.
As usual just waited for a proper starting hand and had some run good too.

Certainly concentrates the mind playing 3 different formats.
Perhaps that's a good thing to stop the mind wandering whilst playing.

Couple more games of this challenge to go.

    Gl with yours.

I think a few will finish today, so I'll be able to post the beginnings of a leaderboard tomorrow morning.
Great show ploppers, I'm proud of my little cherubs.
Hopefully AJ does terrible though, that means he can have a "Couldn't even beat Macac" badge.

I find PLO the purest of games - it has very few surprises on the last card - unlike PLO8. I have been playing at 60p throughout (except for one £1.15 which I lost) and that has helped me relax and play my own game. i have also been doing my homework by watching others on their tables when not playing to determine what strategies people are using - it is amazing how many are using the same!!! Back to PLO8 I feel we get carried away by the magic A2 appearing and think it is worthy of a major punt (often ending up in high cards on the flop) - this of course cannot happen on PLO. I hope it catches on we could have some great games.

Just finished NLHE at 8/10 - really happy with that - especially when I got turned over and out on AA against KQ to lose one of them!!

All  at 60p, not my game really, but had a strategy, play every table AJ is on, let him do the weeding out, sit back and nurse hangover, collect winnings.

A lot of my games had PLO8 regs doing the challange to be honest, so no mugs.  I don't know what the regulars at PLO thought of us lot crashing about.  I remember Vespa winning with A2345, I had to remind him we were not playing PLO8.
