Just seen this Rob, thank you.

Xmas here starts in about 2 hours, so I'm busy tidying the house up before Her Ladyship arrives, & she will be here until New Years Day.

Christmas Dinner is tomorrow - proper job -  tablecloths, napkins, starter, Christmas crackers, turkey, sausages in blankets, roasties, gravy, the whole works. Home made mince pies I'm told, too.

Hoe did George enjoy Christmas? Will you go up Princes St on New Year's Eve?

A wonderful life? Just a bit.

Potatoes & peas yes, other veg, absolutely no chance.

Gill is a veg lover, so she has all the different veg, but she knows I won't even have it near me.

We had some wonderful meals over Xmas, but I'm a pot bellied percy now, & can't seem to shift it.

Gill is weird - she loves all types of veg, & get this - she even likes foreign food. Foreign food, ffs. French, Italian, Chinese, Thai, even Polish. All very odd.

British meat, potatoes & gravy is the nuts, especially steak & kidney pie & pudding. Fray Bentos are Gods to me. Gill never arrived until Boxing day, as she had family commitments (I don't do family), so my Christmas Day Dinner was a Fray Bentos Steak & Kidney pie, tinned poatoes (Tesco's Value range), a tin of marrowfat peas, & lashings of Bisto Gravy granules laced with mint sauce to give it added bite. Food does not get better than that. Mmmmm.....

It seriously worries me that you don't eat your greens...it's a miracle you are still alive.

I did read a funny thing where some minor TV celeb was interviewed and when asked for his favourite food he said he didn't really like Chinese preferring English food like Pizza and Indian.
