Hi Competitors and Sponsors of the TLB2015 Charity Comp.

As a thank you for supporting this initiative in 2015, I am buying a trophy for a "Free to Enter" Heads Up competiton specifically for COMPETITORS AND SPONSORS of the 2015 competition.

All Competitors and Sponsors that have paid their Sponsor money by 10th January 2016 are eligible.

The Heads Up comp run by Phantom66 was very popular, and I want to thank him personally for his support with this. I didn't want to tread on his toes, and he was very obliging and courteous in his response. If I can do half as good a job as he did, I'll be doing OK.

So please sign up here if you are a competitor and/or sponsor of the 2015 TLB initiative and want to be involved in a heads up competition. I will get a nice trophy for the winner and maybe a runner up one too.

Deadline is 10th January and the draw will be made on 11th (I can't promise the U-tube clips like Phantom), so you'll just have to trust me that the draw is "legit"

Regarding the rules for this comp. It's pretty much the same as Phantom's HU Comp. (If it's not broke don't fix it)

Which is basically, whoever gets drawn at home, can choose either a $1.05 turbo or $1.05 speed SNG.

Please use this thread for arranging fixtures AND posting results.

First round will be best of five.

Quarter Finals will be best of five.

Semi Final will be best of seven.

Final will be best of nine. (Must win by two clear games (For FINAL only))

As I am hoping to present the throphy at UKPC, there is only going to be a week, to get each round played. If for some reason an un-avoidable delay occurs, this will be OK, however the draw will still be made each week on a Monday, starting on Mon 11th January. So please do try to get your fixture played within the week. In the event of a one-sided attempt to get the fixture played, the person who is deemed to have made the most effort on the thread to get it played will progress.

Nice one Rose, you are in, as are the competitors, sponsors that have posted. Thanks again for your generous donation. I am hoping to have the bulk of the monies in by the 10th January, with the donations hopefully being made by 15th January.

I will of course update the various threads with final figures for each charity etc.

Hi, for those of you interested in the "Prize". I just got back from the "Throphy Shop".

The prize for the winner of this heads up comp, will be a very nice, large silver cup, which will be engraved with the winner's Name and/or ID each year, and passed on to subsequent winners. 

A smaller cup (also engraved) will be given to the winning player to keep.

Regarding the TLB Comp, Gareth will receive a Large Gold Trophy (OK, not real gold) and it will have his name, userid and amount of profit engraved on it, as will the smaller "gold" cup, which he will keep.

Same deal for Chris, who will receive a shield, engraved of course (also including the number of points he scored), and a smaller replica (engraved) for him to keep.

I think I have picked some nice, good quality trophies, and I hope the winning players are happy with them. I thought it would be nice for the personal engraving to be on both the one they keep and the one that gets passed around each year.

Just for clarifcation, I will pay the cost of the trophies and engraving, so all contributions that have been made, will go 100% to the charities. (ie trophy/engraving costs do not come out of the donations)

UKPC at DTD seems a good place to try and present them, so hopefully see you there!
