18 months after the last update, has the team changed much?
Yes, is the answer. After the multi million buyout it was inevitable i guess. Some old faces do remain though.

Manager
Tikay
The Bobby Robson of poker is irreplacable and celebrating his 9th year in charge of this motley crew.

Goalkeeper
hhyftrftdr
Think Grobbelaar. A clown capable of calamity but also occasional brilliance

Right Back
Lambert180
Think Gary Neville. Technically excellent, always plenty to say. The shop steward

Left Back
Phantom
Spots problems, a menace when going forward. A great contributor

Centre Backs
Tomgoodun and IceTiger
Every team needs good strong characters at the back. These two have that in abundance and no shortage of talent.

Midfield
Stayorgo
Struggled a little recently as been unsure whether to hold his position or get forward and join the attack

Nchanning
Every good team needs a talker in the middle of the pitch. This chap can talk

Geldy
A bit of controversy of late about whether he will remain with us. He's bonkers but we do hope he'll stay

Wingers
Hendrik62
Think Archie Gemmil. Every team needs an angry bearded Scotsman. When his temper is in check he's superb

Jordz16
From no hair on one wing to mad hair on the other. The boys got talent

Centre Forward
MattBates
People have tried but no one has been able to overtake him. As before, a tricky little un who's a great finisher.

....
Club chef
SkySam

Physio
SkyKirsty

Christmas do organiser
SkyJP

Supporters club Manager
DarkAngel

I think this could be our strongest team yet. Champions league here we come

Any spare posistions going in the squad? Assistant chef?

Although i've got this ongoing hamstring issue i think the Physio would need to check...

Thanks for the mention but where is Jac35?

Player/coach = on the touchline trying to moan in a win?

    lol, very good Jac

I think we may need cover in a few positions, as a spate of 'injuries' and resultant required attention from the physio may decimate the ranks ;-)

Paul should be in mid field. Like Iniesta he is solid and totally reliable with moments of pure genius. Unlike Iniesta he will complain every match he doesn't score.

Bonkers me? Bang to rights m'lud. Not as much as the person who puts a (semi) retired person in the first team though.

I'm his No 1 fan. He has the kind of personality that you just want to embrace, and I would embrace him as tightly as anyone.

Shall we call it a 'tighter and more throttling'?

    Shall we call it quits?

Was just meant to be a light hearted thread. It seems to be going the way of a lot of other ones now

Excellent thread Paul, bit worried bout goalie though as I see our first match is v the owner of a chain of Kebab Shops, keep your eye on him taking a dive.

Lay off our goalie, please, we are a TEAM, we stick together.

Here's our man in action. Not a lot gets past him.

    Thanks for the inclusion.

Always been more of a striker. Hang around but don't do much for most of the time but then happen be in the right place at the right time to steal the glory.
