Final January results. Profit has helped with the cash rewards, going to withdraw some of the balance to leave my self with with £1,000 and target is to get it up to £2,000 by the end of the month. Plan is to stick to mainly 20nl and 30nl this month.

Nice to see a diary start on a downer, but quickly turn around... good result for month 1.
Out of interest, how many tables x how many hours do you play per month? Always lost as to how people can totally smash prio alongside a full-time job (accepting a couple of weeks of double points).

Yeah results weren't too bad. want to aim for 1k profit a month even though I'm playing part time, hope fully can do it this month. I always play 8 tables, my laptop isnt designed to fit any more tables lol. Double points definitely helped but I usually hit prio anyways. Thanks mate appreciate the post.
So as you can probably judge by points I haven't put in many hours. Played a few MTTs which didn't go too well, had decent stacks in main and mini but then lost a couple of flips and that was it. I put more on Scotty T at evens late thurs night and that came in on Friday which was a nice +£500 profit. Looking to put alot more hours in this week.

Yeah I wish I had more on to be honest he was pretty much guaranteed to win ha. Thank you, I work full time so just play part time, I'm off work this week so hopefully can put some good hours in.
Rubbish, ran badly and made a significant loss. The account balance has been like a rollercoaster from £1,300 at its highest to £500 at its lowest over the past few days. Haven't put in the hours I would have liked again but that was mainly down to poor internet connection where I was at. Anyways hopefully can brush the loss off and look for profit again next few days, these things happen.
Further losses unfortunately... haven't necessarily been playing badly just not running the best. Decided to move down stakes temporarily to try and recover the losses. Withdrew another £60 from the account for footy bets
As you can see just made priority for the month. No where near targets for what I set at the start of the month so not happy with the month I've had. Going to make targets more realistic this month. I've withdrew my poker balance and plan to deposit 200/300 in the account and get it up to £1000 by the end of the month and hit priority. Decided to stick to 20nl and 30nl this month initially unless things go really well.

I'm in a similar situation to you in that I've dropped stakes in recent months due to poor results, however I'm playing a lot less volume these days due to family and work commitments - feeling that the game has passed me by a bit now!
Just wondering if you think the games are getting tougher recently? I've seen a lot of players I used to play at 50/100 NL grinding the 20nl tables over the past few months

Hi Sorry for the late reply I didnt even check my diary to see if anyone had posted. Yeah my volume has dropped massively and I used to have a much better bank roll but I have quite an expensive car to pay for each month which doesnt help haha. I DEFINITELY think the games are getting much tougher. Players are so much better now than what they used to be i used to be a 100/200nl grinder but looking back i was totally reckless then and had no BRM obviously. Hopefully see you at the tables and thanks for your post.
