The tables will not be paused, nor will there be an announcement along the lines of "THIS IS THE MILESTONE HAND".
It does take a little effort to keep an eye on the Hand Number, but it is worth it if it is on your table.
For MOST players, you can see the Hand Number at the very top of the Table. Failing that, if you cannot see it there (mini-view etc) the Hand Number is displayed in the Chat Box (best to select "SUMMARY) like this.....
"Beginning a new hand (993,964,817) xxxxxxx is the dealer"
If you win any of the prizes, (with the exception of the £1,100 UKPC seat) Sky Poker will NOT inform you, but they will automatically award you the prizes. It's up to you to check if you have won something.
Prizes include cash & entry into a Freeroll. It is your responsibility to check if you are in the Freeroll.
Please note that the amount of points you earn in the preceding 24 hours - up to the very moment it is dealt - affects how much you can win, as the Milestone Hand winner gets £1 per point.
Those dealt into (but not winning) the Milestone hand also need 25 poker points in the preceding 24 hours to qualify for the Freeroll.
Finally, if you think it feels bad to be awarded a prize & not know, because Sky Poker never told you, here's something in the "It could be worse department"......
This was published a few days ago by the National Lottery people.
"Half of the UK's biggest-ever National Lottery jackpot still remains unclaimed a week and a half after the prize draw.
After 14 rollovers the whopping £66 million prize was won by two ticket holders.
David and Carol Martin, both 54, from Hawick in the Scottish Borders immediately claimed their half of the jackpot but the other £33 million is still waiting to be claimed"
There's a decent chance that in every hand thus far nobody has been aware it's a milestone hand because in 3 of the hands there were no all in's - just a pre-flop/post-flop bet of normal size that won the hand. And in the one hand where there was an AI it was in a £6 capped game with "reasonable" hands that might have got it in just because that's the play they would always make.
wrt the £1 per point..... that could end up being a rather large amount for Sky if the "wrong" people for them win it. Last winner made 1000ish points - imagine if all the big grinders won it! Sky would be dishing out a fortune.

Yup, but Sky Poker do everything they can, with reason, (arguably....) to raise awareness.
There is a point when players have to make some effort, too. And those that do may benefit. Those that don't wont.

What can you win?
It's all detailed HERE
Please be aware there are prizes both for being dealt into the hand, & for winning the hand.
The prizes for WINNING the hand are far greater. If you are dealt in, you almost certainly have the pot odds to try to win it.
