Hi Ryan, I visited Vegas a few years ago before I started playing poker. I can recommend seeing Penn & Teller at The Rio or a trip to The Gun Store which has an indoor firing range.
The Red Rock Canyon Coach trip was great. I did it four years in a row and it was still a good trip. You can just wander in and out of all the casinos on the strip. You would be surprised at how many have free shows going on. Have a fantastic time Nannypat66

Another one??
It was honestly the most boring show ever, Americans do not get sarcasm, their humour is of the most basic form ever, i'm suprised anyone here would rate it.
Out of the thousandssss of things you could do (just check the best rated stuff on tripadvisor) this would be bottom.
The National Atomic Testing Museum, not far from The Strip, Las Vegas.
Excellent, highly recommended by me. It had a special exhibit on about Area 51 running while I was there, even though at that time Area51's existence had never been officially acknowledged (it has been since).
Apologies for interupting but there is a free to enter competition to be found in the Betting Chat section of the forum on a thread called Sky Naps Table 2016.
It starts on Saturday and the closing date is 12pm on Friday. All the details are on the thread but there are £100 of free bets from Sky Bet up for grabs and for qualifying players there is a free £200 Poker freeroll at the end of the competition.
Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, the Atomic Testing place are all "must see's".
If you can hire a car, a 40 minute drive away is Mt Charlston Lodge, up in the mountains, where, incredibly, it is 30 degrees Fahrenheit cooler than Vegas. (Vegas is indescribably & uncomfortably hot in the summer).
Drive up to Mt C first thing in the morning, & have brekkie on the verandah, watching the humming birds feed. Best breakfast experience in the world, bar none, & a lovely drive up the winding mountain road.
Deffo visit Downtown one evening, see the awesome light show & all the freaks & street acts.
Walk along the Strip, & saunter in & out of all the different casinos.
Deffo go see a Show - there are dozens, & most are excellent.
More eateries than enough, too, especially the buffets, meals in Vegas are very cheap.
Go watch the local Baseball Team, "Las Vegas 51's" one night at Cashman Field, a wonderful experience.
Oh, & play a little poker. Any game, anywhere, 24/7.
A week is never anywhere near long enough in Vegas.

Or it could be rated 5 star over 200+ reviews....
Your one of those guys that trys to force people to try your food when they keep saying no.... just because you like it arent you.
We all have different tastes thats what makes the world an interesting place.
I like magic and comedy, Tikay likes trains and you like pretending you read reviews on trip advisor.

The Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon are both mandatory. Unmissable. Everybody should see these wonderful places whether on a gambling holiday or not.
some weird and wonderful things come out at night down there!
