    hi tikay,

    i understand.

i can offer a fair solution if you would like.  one guesses, the other says higher or lower.  to help though, i am happy to go first here and give groggs any advantage.

    perfectly happy to wait.

That's very generous of you Rob, & yeah, it would work if you went first, but let's leave it until tomorrow, I'm a bit all over the shop today, to be honest.

I really like the logic though, & may incorporate it into another Free to Enter Comp.

Tikay you shouldn't change the idea you had just as someone has an advantage- his advantage is gained through his own work with statistics and stuff, i insist the decider is a higher or lower for an MTT field size and Rob gets first pick (for convenience sake I'll take the opposite)

    Morning Groggy,

Been a bit waylaid, but I was just sorting this, & I had some hare-brain convoluted idea, but seeing as you say that, yeah, lets go that route.

We'll make it "How many runners in tonight's Main Event?"

Rob goes first, if he does not mind, & you then answer HIGHER or LOWER.

That negates Rob's advantage, as although he has stats on field sizes, he will be coming up with a large number (usually 500+ in the Turbo Tuesday) & he's unlikely to get it spot on, & you affectively flip a coin by choosing higher or lower.

So, Rob to answer first, then Groggy says HIGHER or LOWER".

Apologies we missed yesterday, I had a bad day all round.

I really LOVE the fact that both of you are doing this in the spirit intended - just a bit of fun. It does get a bit too serious-werious on here at times.

Neither of you are the type to argue about irrelevances, but Groggy, you ONLY need to say "HIGHER", not specify a number.

You agree with that, Rob? That was my intention.

491 people entered so I was closer. Would i be able to have entry to the one on Sunday as I wouldn't be able to play one till then?
Thanks again this was a fun little thing to do, I feel slightly guilty in a way as its a tournament I'd have played anyway but I suppose it's a reward for the victor, although it'd be nice to see somebody who wouldn't usually play win the next one.
A little game of higher/ lower and you can win £33? and people complain about freerolls on sky ... ;-)

    Hi Groggy,

Which £33 game on Sunday do you mean? Is there a £33 game on Sunday? Apologies if there is, but nothing comes immediately to mind.

I'm at last sorting out the winners prizes for this, my apologies for the delay, the week got away from me what with this & that.

Winner -  FeelGroggy. He wins a £33 Main Event seat. I await which night he wishes to play.

    Runner-up - Aussie09 - he wins a £11 Turbo Tuesday Main Event seat.

Sky Poker are also going to give scouse-red a Free Turbo Tuesday Main Event seat for all his hard work collating the lists. I never asked him to do it, he just got on with it, & saved me a ton of time.

Well done all, it was a fun sweat, & it'd be even better if any of the prize winners went in to cash, or even win.
