    Thats what I was thinking man!? I've gone through the hand and looked at every angle and I just can't see why he would make the call off the raise under the gun with A8...then I understand him trying to take a pop at it with 750 but surely you wouldnt call over 2k with absolutely nothing?!

    Ahhh...I swear I will just never get to a final table on here! Lol!

    Cant see why he called your pre-flop raise, and i'm defo folding to your all-In after the flop.

    Unlucky Ads, keep going m8 i'm sure it will balance out in the long run.

    was he short stacked compared to everyone else?

    I would like to believe the guyy thought if he doesnt make a move then he is going out anyway and rather and sit around for 30 minutes for a hand where he could only double up wth a few hundred, he decided to take this chance and double up or go bust.

    He has an ace, potential flush with 3 spades and a straight if a 9 and q or 7 came up.

    You had a much better percentage chance of winning, but he just got lucky that this time it landed in his favour.

    lol i dont know how people can try and justifiy this... shame it wernt a cash game. Just label him a donk... had some guy 3 bet me preflop with A2, i had AK... i bet flop and he called, put him all in on the turn and he called... we both had only ace high i obviously had him outkicked... bang river gutshot lol... some things people do are just inexplainable and its sick when they get so lucky butdw most the time they wont! The poor guy apologised in the chatbox after...

    he called for the same reason lots of people do,(he had an ace)
    then made a bad bet and thought fu ook it and called for rest of chips,had same loads of times and now and again they get lucky......
