The folder wanted to protect his limping range.

Notes on mylena.  "Completes with KK . Checks all streets calls a ribber shove on a KdQdTdAd board.

I once folded in a similar position on the river in a cash game. The pot had been limped to me in the BB and the flop and turn were checked around. On the river one guy bets all in for 200 BB, I folded. The reason being that the rake would have meant that calling would have lost me more than my BB. With hindsight it was an excellent bet by him. Different in a tourney obv, even I call the river bet there.

That is a world-class fold on the river (why give out free info?) and also great trapping by Mylena who is obviously hoping to hit quad kings and then have the ultimate disguise.

This phenomenon happened in a game I was playing on Sky Poker several years ago. It was shown on Sky Poker Channel after I had submitted it to TK and Richard. It can be viewed by searching "Royal Flush To The Board" on You Tube.

Beacause of its rarity I claimed the name "The ImberSEAL" for the phenomenon - unless someone had already claimed it - lol.

Nice to see another one documented - a very rare hand indeed. I guess you have a claim to the name now - lol - nice one.

I think we were all a bit younger then TK - a lot of water under the bridge since then - but great to look back on :)

Just a bit. There's a whole book there waiting to be written. And I might just do that.

I usually just check it down in these spots (or just flat a bet) because I assume opponent is never folding to a bet/raise. In this case, I'd be mistaken! Granted, it was only an extra ev of 6.66 chips for each of you!
