UKPC Question...

Not a big deal like but just wondering...

UKPC is £1000 + £100 so for those who have qualified or bought in direct via Sky, I assume we get the points for the rake we paid?

...£100 rake = 1000 points.

If so, you think it'll be credited during Feb's points or March's?

    Do they not appear automatically on your Widget thing?

    I'm not really au fait with how it works, but I'm struggling to think - if you were entitled to the points - why they would not appear yet.

    EDIT - Light Bulb moment. As a general rule, players get their MTT points AFTER it concludes, so that'd be next Monday I guess? Just guessing here.

    Yeah they certainly wouldn't be in there now. I would expect them to be in there after the event so yeah Monday, I just don't know if it works the same way for live events/if we are credited the points at all.

    I dont think you get any reward points. This was posted in Aug 2014 after I asked the same question.

    Hi Guys,

    As with the UKPC in February you are not awarded Sky Poker Reward points for this tournament. Unlike an SPT the reg fees are not taken by Sky so the reward points are not allocated to accounts.

    Fair enough. I wasn't sure cos I think last time it was actually a £1000 BI and rake was effectively take from the prizepool/people that cash so there was no rake technically to get points for but this one went back to the traditional method so wasn't sure.
