Hated how I played it , standard c bet        ,     Thought I was raising against the draw    , then the river bet to muck it if I was shuved on .      All advice welcome ! Just trying to get better and picking some brains

i dont play deep, and i dont play 6max. but i dont think this is a standard cbet at all

you have three other players in the hand on a board that will  have fairly low fold equity even v one player.

also you are raising from early position which should weight villains flop starting distribuition towards connected, broadway etc holdings. you have a hand that plays well on turns as you always have some showdown, draws to top pair best kicker and a gutshot to the nuts.

when you cbet you face stronger ranges on the turn, your King isnt as clean an out, and you dont have as much showdown. worse still any raises hurt you. you have decent equity and some extremely thin value. you dont want to be raised off your hand.

raising turn is pretty disasterous.

villains calling range on flop will be mostly single pairs, some straight draws and some traps.

on turn a lot of his straight draws now become nuts, and he still has some traps.

his single pair holdings are devalued and so it will be hard to get value.

if you elect to check, just check call.

as played bet river a little smaller and plan on folding to raises.

i think also you can raise bigger with your whole range pre-flop when UTG

basically you cant get away from having a strong range utg so you arent giving away any extra info by raising 2.5 or 3x. you can also exploit weaker players who dont pay attention to postion and ranges.

AK really wants to play HU. once one player calls a minr you suddenly give great odds to the players behind. AK 4 way is a muggy proposition. build the pot with value, get HU or 3 way and look to take it from there.

Check fold flop here, we are not gonna generate enough folds on this flop multiway, and the only out were really loving isthe Q. Everything else is gonna be dirty, generate little value when we do hit and often lose lots when we do.

The turn, if were checking here its defintely a check call is by far the better option, allow villain to keep all his bluffs in and keep the pot small to allow us to not throw away money we dont need to

As I say I hate the way I played it but interesting what you say about not C/betting, il have to give more thought on when and where to do it ! I hated the raise on the turn too ... I think (at the time)  I thought about draws .. But in the cold light of review they would already be hit! Any way thanks just trying to go over my mistakes when fairly deep in tornys
