Ok, this might test some of your super poker brains - just for fun.

Heads up or just 2 players. (assume both players check to the river)

What is the LOWEST possible cards you can win a hand with?

Put yours and your opponents hole cards
and the 5 community cards.

Trickier than you might at first think

    It should read

    What is the LOWEST possible hole cards you can win a hand with?

    Opponent has 33 or 32, but we have the mighty 42 on a doubled paired board with a 2.

    E.g. Board JJKK2. Our 4 plays.

    No, scrap that we can win with 3 high if board has 4oak.

    E.g. Board KKKK2, oppo has 22 we have 23.

    Lol, No I meant (the tricky part)  The lowest possible cards on the entire board including hole cards and community cards.

    There can't be a lower card that would make the hand smaller.

    you hold 22, opponent doesn't have 22. on a KKKK2 board.


    (note:  the question specified cards, not hand.   2 is also the lowest card even though you're holding two of them.  23 is the lowest hand.  if the question asked for hand you would be right imo)

    oh yes, you're right.  i missed that bit.  it could still be 22 though.  they could have illegal cards in their hand, like Professor Plum and the Lead Piping

    No no.

    I've got it.

    22 V 22 on any board that's a chop .

    Board = 45678

    But when it's chopped. 

    Hero is in the small blind and the pot is 1.01.

    The pot gets split £0.50 / £0.51 

    You get the extra £0.01  therefore "winning" .

    Solved. Lock thread ?
