Looking forward to this when will the nightly satelites be starting? A bit dissapointed with the removal of the regular speed £55 bounty hunter at 9pm. With the removal of this it actually makes the nightly schedule buyins less than a normal night apart from the main and ukops is supposed to be about having bigger tournaments with bigger gtds. I know some people were dissapointed with the removal of the £55 bounty hunter last time and sky decided to have another £33 bounty hunter at 8.30pm to compensate for this. Could the same be done this time please? Posted by bearlyther
My understanding is that the UKOPS XVI satellites will be starting in the next day or so.
I received an internal e-Mail on Monday that suggested they will start "in the next few days", so probably tomorrow or Thursday, all being well.

Hi Conor,
I replied yesterday that I had sent this up to Leeds for comment.
They have replied, & suggested that it is likely (not 100%, but very probably) that they will add that £33BH which you mentioned.
Satellites? The tree is a bit of a pain to construct, & they are very busy, but he is hoping to get it completed & in the Lobby today or tomorrow.

id like a super turbo at 9pm-10pm 3-5min blinds so can be over by midnightish £5.50 buyin. satelites to all torns aswell even the £3 cheapy. is it possable to have links to the sat's in the main events? Posted by MICKYBLUE
Hi Micky,
That would not really be suitable for this UKOPS, but its something they can look at for future renewals.
Link to UKOPS Satellites? They have not begun in earnest yet, but there is one tonight (& every night from now on), HERE
Hi Tikay, was wondering what the head prizes start off at in the 20k main ukops event. Sorry if not co hearant but minds a bit muzzy at the minute. Posted by Darkangel7
Can you elaborate on that please? Not sure I understand the question.
With any luck, one of the regular guys will be along shortly & answer it for me.

HI DA. If it meets its Guarantee, each 'bounty' will be 75% of £50 (half the buy in, other half in cash prize pool) like all BH's are. Basically, the first head you get (of many no doubt in your case) will be worth £37.50. This is ofc only if the guarantee is met, so that figure could go up or down.
Thank you boys. as never get a chance to play these events and fluked it was wondering what the starting bounty was.
The number of players I managed to ko was fun especially the 4 handed one. Aussie, I am sure that wont happen again for a long long time. I would really prefer either Richard Gere or Jason Statham for a weekend away in London instead of George Clooney.

The figure won't go down.
It'll be a minimum of £37.50 per head regardless of if the guarantee is met or not.

What is the relevance of guarantee being met or not to the bounty element of the prizepool?

No complaints at all?
Get outa here, we don't need your sort.

i think...
£110 buy-in
£50 prize pool, £50 bounty
You retain 75% of every bounty you take (25% added to your head)
£37.50 minimum.
for you, donna, with your likely haul of 20 heads, this means an income enough to pay for a weekend away in london... with george clooney... again.

ah, for richard gere you need no more than half a dozen heads.
