Flossie* does Omaha PTP Tonight

edited February 2010 in Poker Chat

Tonight is my first PTP under the new system, & it'll be Omaha Cash all the way.

I'll start at about 7pm on the 2p-4p Tables, & I'll open two, maybe three.

At about 8pm, after a short PNB, it'll be rinse, repeat, at 5p-10p.

9pm or so, after a PNB, I'll move up again, to 10p-20p.

And at about 10.30, I'll play some 25p-50p.

All that assumes I don't do my Bankroll beafore the evening is out.

As I'm 2 or 3 Tabling Omaha, & I'm quite old......it will be a struggle to answer questions in the Chat Boxes, partricularly "open" questions.

So, if you have questions about particular Omaha hands, or plays, please Post them HERE.

If you have ANY other "open" questions, please post them HERE

Surprisingly, it's actually easier to answer questions properly on the Forum than it is in the Chat Boxes. I will even reply to most of them whilst playing, or during my breaks, but it's just very hard to field them & answer them properly in the Chat Box when the various Tables are popping up every other nasnasecond.

Thanks, & I hope to see a few of you later.

* Flossie? It's Orford's new nick for me. He's so childish.

There might be a queue Dylan. Players know value when they see it.

When I first started playing Live Poker, I was always surprised to receive invites to big money private Cash Games. It took me a year or two (& a goodly bunch of moolah) to work out why they always wanted to find me a seat.......

Was it because they were fascinated by your train stories?

They would have been Vince, trust me. You don't know hat you are  missing.

Don't forget guys - 7pm, at the Omaha Cash Tables, I'll need some players.

I'm not overly keen on playing with myself.

    10pm, & I'm taking a quick breather.

    Been great fun so far, & I've sat on 4 different Tables, 2 @ 2p-4p, & 2 at 5p-10p.

No pull ups or top-ups been needed so far, I've sat with th maximum each time, (£4 + £4 + £10 + £10) so £28 invested thus far, & the return as of now is a miserly but satisfying £39.44, so I'm about £11 up to date.

Now I move up the Levels, & it's so easy in Omaha to "do the lot" in one hand, but we'll have to see how it goes.

As the TP-ers, who play with  "STAR" Avatar will tell you, playing with a "badge" on your head, as all the PTP-ers do, don't half make it a challenge, with "spite calls" & all sorts, but it's interesting to find ways to try & combat it.

I'm playing super-nitty, of course, & concentrating very much on starting hand selection.

Ok, once once, once more, back into the breach.......

I think the new PTP Format will work.

Well I managed to keep my head above water in the final session, in which I played 2 x 10-20p Tables, turning £40 into...well, £43.

So, about £15 profit in total. I shall soon be able to retire if I keep this up. Once I'm old enough, that is.

Night all, & have a great weekend.
