the above hand was from a bounty hunter this morning only three away from the money wasnt bothered about the bountys taking this hand would of made me a massive chip leader did i overplay it bearing in mind it was only top pair top kickeredit ended up bubble boy

Hi mate you were already allin by the turn so you couldnt fold lol.

I would personaly raise a bit smaller pre flop maybe 2.2 to 2.5. Post flop probably do all my the chips.

You probably go broke with that hand on that board and 20bb behind.

Can raise smaller pre, min or min+ is fine. If you wanna make the money then you can call the donk lead but it's gonna leave you in a potentially tricky spot on turn and river.

Benefit of just calling that 3k is the guy who checks now has to be pretty honest with his hand strength, and if the other player comes for the ride before its back on you then you can probably get away from it.

I think the guy donk betting means you go broke here, ul.

 I minraise my whole range pre here. Its good to raise the same with all your hands so that opponents can't get any reads on what you have. By raising smaller we have more room to make decisions postflop and can raise a wider range.

This flop is great for us and I'm more than happy putting in my chips here. Really only 77 and 66 has us beat and they're extremely unlikely. It would probably be a pretty big mistake if you didn't go broke in this hand.
