This DYM hasn't been going for long so I don't know much about him other than he limps.

i would of raised to 90 from dealer button so would of had a diff situation but.

floating and seeing what he does on turn would be my prefered option in your situation.

+1 to Micky, I think an iso pre is much better than overlimping and flop just seems a super easy flat.

Why would we fold here? We snap assuming he must have limped QQ+ or have 2x ?

Fwiw, I think a lot of the time he'll have worse Jx and the smaller PPs, maybe 33-88

I took it like a suited connector pre thinking raggy Jxo and Qxo  would fold I didn't in any way believe Axo would fold nor would suiited cards,if I miss the flop the chances are i'll give up believing worse hands are what will fold.

Calling the raise pre I did now have less confidence in him having an over pair, if he was the very deceptive type I would imagine he'd even do weak bets if not hope to do Ch/r on the flop. I do still believe I could be sitting ahead but I not totally certain, I still imagine QJ-AJ in his range and I just can't imagine myself wanting to call a double barrell.

My final decision was to call the flop thinking he might slow down with hands I'm likely to beat or if the turn card brought either an A or spade. I certainly didn't want to continue on the turn

Even if the limper were to call a small raise 100% of the time it could still theoretically be a better play than an over limp. I think it is more about increasing the profitability of post flop situations than about having any significant immediate fold equity.

With the second bit, it could be you're looking at 'hitting' and 'missing' as too much of a black and white thing? Like different boards are good or bad for our (as well as our opponents) hands/ perceived ranges to varying degrees.

one of the things I tend to notice with sky is that nothing happens preflop nearly all the loose players limp even the lags sometimes begin with a limp then turn LAG postflop. I'm trying to work on a way in which I can seperate the various forms of lose play post flop I expect some to give up right away others who might easily give up on the turn then those who'll go all the way down to the river
