i know on another site they wont allow you to print photos of 'living' celebrities because of commercial rights and are worried about copyright infringement - or i may be talking out of my backside as usual lool

Hi webby, yes i believe this picture was rejected by our moderates. feel free to upload another. cheers Posted by Sky_Rich
Hi Rich
I have been thinking, I wonder why Nelson Mandelly picture was rejected? seeing as he fought for equal rights in South Africa and as we know it ended in a multi racial democracy in South Africa and also contirbuted to world feedom.
Many photographs, "lifted" from google Images or somesuch, have, copyright issues, or involve Image Rights.
Despite all the nonsense you hear about Sky Poker being unfair from time to time, the entire bskyb Group, including all of Sky Bet, are squeaky squeaky clean as to the legal side of things, & everything gets checked & double-checked with the Legal peeps.
And that is why Members cannot upload photographs without them first receiving Moderators approval.

Hi Barry and others that have queried it,
it's pretty much as loonytoons puts it.
we have to follow strict rules that are put in place on all Sky related communities (including this little 'un right here)
so rich what pictures are allowed then because i know of a few that have got pictures of film actors? Posted by webby234
as tikay suggests it's not always the actual image that gets a picture rejected, it can be the source, file type, path, size etc etc etc.
there are actually quite a few reasons out of the obvious why a photo can be rejected, although don't let that put you off, most pictures are just fine as long as you use a little common sense when selecting/ uploading.

You Sir, I like, a man who reads between the lines, & thinks these things through.
It really is most ironic.
