WSOP Main Event Day 1B Live Update - Lyonsbob, DustoLucko & Mattprawn

A very good morning from Las Vegas to all of you at home. What a day's sport you have had, with the F1 British Grand Prix, Andy Murray at Wimbledon, & the Euro 16 Final still to come.

Meanwhile, today is Day 1B of the WSOP Main Event, which, really, is the World Championship of Poker. 

Sky Poker have THREE qualifiers playing today, namely.....

DustoLucko

LyonsBob

Mattprawn

Photos will follow shortly, though we have not got a LyonsBob photo yet - he forgot to bring his passport across to The Rio, so has had to dash back to Palazzo to fetch it. This is not the first time this has happened to a Sky Poker qualifier, it seems to happen every year to at least one Sky Poker qualifier.

Play starts at 11am Vegas (7pm UK) so it's unlikely Lyonsbob will be back in time for "shuffle up & deal", but missing an orbit or two is no big deal.

    if you forget your passport and have to go back to hotel and get it, can you unreg and then then late reg. Probably too much hassle i suppose to the venue.

    Mattprawn will be AMAZON GOLD, Table 465, Seat 1

    DustoLucko will be BRASILIA SILVER, Table 41, Seat 1


    So we'll need to run up & down the corridor between those 2 rooms all day to follow them.
     
    Obviously, we don't yet know what seat & table Lyonsbob will be on.......

    Top 10,000? Not sure if that's a compliment or an insult. ;)

    PS - Not even sure I know what GPI is, other than that GPI purchased The Hendon Mob website a few years ago.

    A breathless LyonsBob, having rushed back to Palazzo, collected his passport, then back to The Rio, then joined the queue to register, is now safely sorted & seated. Apparently Sam forgot to tell him to bring his passport.  

    He is AMAZON ORANGE, TABLE 371, SEAT 3.

    So our 3 boys today are.....



    Mattprawn will be AMAZON GOLD, Table 465, Seat 1

    DustoLucko will be BRASILIA SILVER, Table 41, Seat 1

    LyonsBob will be AMAZON ORANGE, Table 371, Seat 3.

    This is the Sky Poker corner of the Media Centre.
     
    Nearest camera is Mark, who is in Marketing. Marketing are responsible for Promotions, such as Happy Days, Viva Las Vegas, Points Accelerator, all those sort of things.
     
    Furthest from camera is Dan, who runs Sky Poker TV & does all the filming out here. Think it is his 6th or 7th trip to Las Vegas with Sky Poker. 

    The shady looking one in the middle, who has not bothered to shave, is Sam. We don't know what Sam does.
