I may be wrong but I don't think SKY tokens give you 'change' if you reg for a lower value entry than your token that you selected to use.
i.e. if you opt to use your token in a £5,50 game and you have a £25 token then it is all taken.
This has always been an issue so SKY changed it so by default you had to select to use your token. To use for a higher value buyin than than token
I am not sure how the DTD tokens are issued. 5 x £5 or 1 x £25. If it is a £25 token then you may need to use it on a £25 + entry

As far as I'm aware when you go to use your tokens you have to select the option to use them. I believe they have to be used in one go so if you buy in to a smaller game than you had tokens for you will lose the rest of the value. If you buyin for a game of greater value then you pay the difference.
So in your example you would lose the difference as no change is given so to speak.

I won £15 on DTD and £5 on the predictor and this was combined to 2 x £10 tickets. I checked and if I try and sign up for a £20 game and select yes, it takes both too.
I am well happy with this as I will use it for a much bigger game this weekend than I normally play.

Ah i think thats where the mistake was i entered a 5.5 bh i didnt know that rule oh well dont think we were told about this . i just thought we had 25 pound to use on tourneys, thanks for the help and info though

I played the 3 DTD games on Monday 3/10/16 where I used 3 tokens for the total of £5. I should have £25 in tokens left in my account.

Here's a quick reminder and some hints on tips of usage if you win any Tokens:
1. Go to My Account and Free bets and your token/s will be sitting in "Offers Ready to Use"
2. Check the amounts you Tokens are worth ie £25 might be £10x2 and £5 x1 tokens
3. Now work out the best value games that your tokens can be used for. in the above example £22 or £33 playing a £22 game will "lose you" £3 of Token, a £33 will cost you the £8 difference.
4. The system will redeem the lowest value token for a game selected hence the recent problems.
5. If you have a £5 token and select to use it for a £1 game the sytem will say would you like to use token amount £1, the system will then take the full value of the £5 token for this game, see wording below.
6. If you have more than one token in your account ie 2x£10 and select to play an £11 game the system will take both tokens and you will lose £9.
7. Tokens are designed for part entry for a bigger game.
8. NO CHANGE IS GIVEN FOR PART TOKEN USAGE.
9. Tokens expire 1 Week after issue.
10. These are my understanding of the rules and cover the basic usage of Tokens.
