I will start a new thread for the competition proper.
By a remarkable stroke of luck there are 77 entrants which means a preliminary round of 26 is needed to get us down to 64 players for round 2.
That means with 90 balls available in my random number generator I can make the draw for both rounds in one go as numbers 78 to 90 will be designated as the winner of match 1, 2 etc (as long as I remember to only put those balls in once I have drawn the first 26).
I think that's right, unless its wrong.
Getting ready to film it now - fingers crossed it will be up on Youtube this evening.
Draw complete I must confess to a couple of schoolboy errors.
No.1 I didnt make sure the battery was fully charged - It showed a charge but died on me after the first 24 numbers came out.
No.2 When I said this "Entries in so far (please check for omissions/spelling mistakes)" it didn't occur to me check for me. So while I had declared myself in, I hadn't put myself in the list.
#FAIL
The draw is done. I dont intend to change it.
I will name myself as first reserve. We had a few withdrawals last year so I should get in eventually.
A bit of editing to do especially with the break in filming. Hopefully up on youtube later.
