£55 rebuy - 23/10/2016

hi all,

having never played this before i was thrilled to get a seat via the 6:30pm freeroll

i must say that as a player who only plays £2.20/£5.50 bounty hunters i found this type of tournament quite stressful in comparison.

obviously the standard of player i was competing against was much better than i am used to and found the constant raising on every single hand quite daunting - think i was the only limper!!

dont think i could every justify paying the £55 for a seat, especially as its a rebuy!

even when the break came i declined to rebuy and spent most of the first hour after the break around last spot.

however i can report i managed to keep things together, got the cards in at the right time, got lucky on a few hands and finished a very respectable 5th pocketing £530, not bad for a freeroll ticket.

thanks sky poker for giving us little guys the chance to mix it up with the sites top players. 

will have to start taking these freerolls more seriously in future!
