In Response to Re: Punta Cana Classic Live Update : Can vinny's daughter give him a massage at the table, or is there a monopoly on such a thing? You know, to ease the discomfort.Loool. But seriously, me being a live poker virgin, who in these big tournies can approach the tables and who cant? Just officialdom?....yes i know the players and dealer can, so no wise cracks.glgl vinny, early du. Posted by chilling
Vinny's daughter, very sadly, is not here. There are, as at all big Live Tournaments, Massage Girls, they generally charge around $1 a minute.
Railers here can approach players at the table, but must not linger, or talk to the player whilst he/she is in a hand. Media (including Justin & I) are exempt, but must use our common-sense.
In the WSOP in Las Vegas, there is a physical rail, & spectators are not allowed inside the ropes, so cannot approach the players.
InswinHere lost half his stack against Oliver Optimistic who had spanners but got there.
He got the rest in with 2-2 v A-K, & as it happened Big Slick man missed the lot. However, the 5-5-6 flop was a scary one, them counterfeit jobbies are horrible, & it was instant service as along came the 6 on the turn, smoking a pipe, & that was that.
Are there any "big names" there? (i.e. non Sky Poker ones) Posted by FCHD
A few, Barny, Doug Polk just busted, & Humberto Brenes busted earlier.
The modern generation might not think Humberto is a "big" name, but he has a pretty impressive WSOP record if I recall correctly, with over 50 WSOP cashes to his name. He's semi local, too, think he comes from Costa Rica or somewhere similar. I don't actually know where Costa Rica is, but it sounds like is it this part of the world.
