    OK Deadline has been and gone and still no word from GCDF. Which should mean that the 1st reserve gets a place, however 1st reserve is away on holiday at the moment and cant play this week. Which means chiggypig has a walkover into Round 1 and will play Hotwheals. Can we please try and get remaining 1st round fixtures played this week? Not a formal deadline, ie people wont be disqualified if they cant play this week, but I would like to get the Round 2 draw done next week and will be setting a Round 1 deadline soon. If anyone is in touch with Max Ball (ballboy) can they please point him towards this thread? I know it is a difficult time and will make allowances for his fixtures, but I would like to know whether he would like to take up his Dads place under a TeamBall banner for his charity, or nominate a friend to do the same.

    Hi Max,

    Thanks for posting, I appreciate it is a difficult time for you and there is absolutely no rush to get your fixtures played.

    I suggest that you get this week behind you and then see how you feel.

    I would be happy for you to play in your dad's place as well as your own and I thought it would be fitting if you could play for your charity in Steve's name. 

    It was proposed earlier in this thread after your dad's sad passing and no objections were raised. 

    Take care Max and just post here when you are ready to play.

    I'm normally free round the same time. However, I've not been playing for about a week now as I've had the tiling/redecoration in my bathroom to do. Almost there now, but its taking a while as can only do it at nights (work all day), so I don't think I'll be able to play any poker until weekend. Do you play any earlier at the weekends by any chance?

    I have just beaten DOHHHHHH 2-0 . The cards were good to me, game one had a flush to beat his straight and in game two flopped two pairs to  beat his one pair .
