Bye Bye, Super Rebuy

The £6,000 Guaranteed Super Rebuy which ran at 7pm on Sundays has been laid to rest. Put simply, it was not viable.

It replaced a £55 Freezeout in the same slot, & that suffered the same fate, it just could not be made to cover. Setting fire to money week after week makes no sense.

Effective this Sunday, there will be a £55 Bounty Hunter with a £2,000 Guarantee in the 7pm slot.

Would like to see a better structure of sats into the 55's on Sky more akin to the structure for the mains every night with quarter and semi finals. The £12 one's seem very crapshooty and put me off trying. Would surely help with guarentees.

No love lost here, I burnt enough money in rebuys in that thing lol. Bounty hunters will always be the Shangri-La of Sky Poker.

    Amen.

Perhaps worth mentioning that the now dead Super Rebuy was delivering a chunk of overlay every week.

James replaced it last night with a £55 entry £2,000 Guaranteed BH - it attracted 51 entrants, & came in at 25% over Guarantee.

Sky Poker don't have a policy of non-stop Bounty Hunters, but the fact is, it is proven again & again that they perform very well.

So next time we see "too many Bounty Hunters", we know that is generally piffle.

"Piffle" A fine word Tikay, and much underused these days.

Why thank you Kidima, & welcome to the Forum.

"flimflam", "eyewash", "poppycock" & "twaddle" & "prattle" all work too.

It's like nice swearing, the sort of words that Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, or other posh sorts would use in good company.

The Forum needs more new life, so I hope you hang around & post more.

This week's favourite word will be quench. Perfectly lovely, don't you think?
