I entered two BH tourneys consecutively; a £2.20 and a £5.50 with over 100 players and in both when it got to around 50 players left, I was in last or next to last place.
I found out something.........hanging on is exciting and great fun.

Usually in this situation I am like most I suppose and wait for a half decent hand to try double up or bust.
But I waited and dodged and weaved, I could only play if I had good cards and no one raised the anti. I kept looking at the stats - you are 23rd of 23 etc.
The bubble was at 18 in the first and I got to 13th before I was out and in the second I got to 10th.  (Cashing in both)

But I enjoyed those two games more than if you coast past the bubble. The old ticker rate went up a few good times though. That’s how poker should feel - get the old adrenalin going.

Wel done Goody, like you said so many just throw their chips in when they get short stacked, which is of course a kind of tilt. You should look for your spots carefully and realise that you often have far more time than you realise. In the Sunday major I was 119th out of 119, about 2 hours later I was 88th out of 88, I entually came 6th, just by hanging on in there like you did.

Yes , that was a great effort to survive and cash both. Especially as it was a bh, so the vultures would have been circling
