    Sounds good D.

    If we get teams finalised by 10pm on 28th December, perhaps we can synch up and post the initial foursomes at midnight on 28th, before you go to Rose's? (If midnight is too late then perhaps 11pm on 28th)

    Is that doable?

    We just need to order the first four matches, the rest we'll do round by round. If midnight on 28th is difficult then we can work out a time on 29th. The idea is that we post our pairings as simultaneously as possible, but as long as we have each finalised our pairings and don't change them before we post, that will be fine. Just so that in effect we have no idea of each others pairings.

    Hi, it's been a while since we started scouting for players to represent the North and South respectively.

    Please can ALL PLAYERS RE-CONFIRM their availabilty for MON 2ND JAN 11AM-6PM.

    We will finalise the teams on 27th December and then post the initial foursome pairings by midnight on 28th December.

    Can players also please post if they are available to play PLO and PLO8 or just NLHE.

    So, to start the ball rolling, I re-confirm my availibilty for the South and also my son's (Limp2Lose) availability for the North.

    I am happy to play PLO8, PLO and NLHE, whilst my son is just a NLHE man.

    Can play NLHE and PLO (if needed, but no expert). Dont understand that stoopid PLO8 game though so in the style of the Dragons....I am out for that.

    Hi Max, the initial foursomes start at 11.16, 11.31, 11.46 and 12.01 respectively. (The full schedule is a few posts back) If these are too early for you, please let Donna know so she can just schedule you for the fourballs and singles.

    I can play Omaha but by no means an expert - the way I have seen it primarily played it that you continue to make pot bet sized raises until someone gives up !!

    Hi Gary, great stuff.

    To balance the teams up I have had to recruit you to the South. (According to the "map men" video, Leicester is classed as South anyway.)

    Hi all.

    The teams are beginning to take shape, I have updated the opening post with "confirmed players".

    Please can the following re-confirm their availability:

    JUBB
    THISLTEDU
    DARKLADY20
    ITSOVER4U
    HANSON
    BOOMSWITCH

    The pairings for the initial foursomes will be made by midnight on 28th December, so we would like to have the final list of all confirmed runners no later than 27th Dec, to give the captains 24 hours to decide upon their initial foursomes pairings.

    The schedule is immediately after the opening post. However things will kick off at 11am on 2nd Jan 2017 with a "one game"  captains match in honour of Ice_Tiger.

    The captains will sit out for the first 3 minutes. Please join DARKANGEL7 and myself at the table (a £1.05 turbo SNG) at 11AM in a silent rail, in respect of Steve Ball (Ice_Tiger).

    The "proper" matches will then start at 11.16AM and will be the Speed Format for the NLHE games and the standard format for PLO and PLO8 games.
