Newbie Question on Set Up

What does auto muck losing hands and auto muck winning hands mean?

I know muck means discard but what is the display difference between me mucking or not mucking.

The bottom line is I don't want anyone to see my cards unless they have to and I don't want any automation when I play as regards my decisions.

    It simply means all cards will be mucked automatically, if you leave auto muck off you will have the option to manually muck or show cards if you wish.
