Time to pay tribute to.......

Sky Poker is so different to other Online Poker Sites.

We have the usual mixture of good, bad, & distinctly rotten as all sites I suppose, but the point of difference is so many players who instead of just playing, or chuntering, actually DO things for poker, poker players, & those less fortunate.

Plenty of those here at Sky Poker, I could trot off 10 names or more without giving it much thought, & I expect there are many more.

One man in particular, however, has impressed me enormously.

Every day for the last month I have researched his results, as he was on the cusp of something very special.

And so, at last, the Big Day arrived, & yesterday, with several good runs in UKOPS, our man joined a very exclusive club - those who have over £100,000 of MTT profits here on Sky Poker. I use Sharkscope as my unofficial guide, & it may not be strictly accurate, but no matter, it's as near as makes no difference.

Our man is not just a tremendously good player, but he's a good winner as well as a good loser. Nobody likes a bad loser, but this fella takes it all in his stride.

    But there's better.

Aside from getting the lot on the tables, he coaches his son, & others, & the results of his student's speak for themselves.

But above all the profits, all the coaching, & all the good work he does to big up our great game of poker here & elsewhere, he also runs Community Competitions- The Sky Poker Ryder Cup for instance.

And to top all that, he devotes an enormous amount of time to his TLB Charity Thread.

In 2016, he has enlisted the support of so many good players here at Sky Poker, & between them, they have raised nearly £4,500 for assorted good causes - for those less fortunate than us.

He ran it in 2015, too, & I don't recall the amount raised, but I'm pretty sure it was the top side of £2,500.

We cannot BEGIN to imagine how much time our man devotes to this charity work, & it's endless labour, day after day.

I love this man to bits, for what he does for Sky Poker, for Poker, & for people.

I think it'd be great if a few of you added your view on him too. He deserves nothing less.

Certainly a fearless competitor online, great to see that the charity stuff is still being run and also well supported. Hopefully he will be retiring from playing soon, focussing on the coaching and charity work so that the rest of us can get some food off the table, :-)

Well done Graham. Some great achievements.

Maybe an occasion for one of Sky Kirsty's interviews?

Admirable results and excellent charity work.

I wish I could say I was as good on both counts.

All the best for more of the same in 2017.

There are those who put up phone numbers on social media and those who get off their derriere and make a difference. Well played sir.

Well deserved OTK (Order of the Tony Kendall). The money raised for charity because of Graham makes a real difference, and I am sure the organising and collecting is very time consuming and onerous.

(when I skmmed the first posts I thought we were voting as to whether TK should Stay or Go - I think you know which way I wd vote.....)
