Its a nice promo but why is the highroller leaderboard prizepool smaller? First prize is only 3 buyins for the highroller leaderboard.Would of thought this one would have the largest prizepool of the 3 Posted by Arrogant
Hi Arrogant.
I do tend to agree with you, but didn't want it to take away from the excellent work Sky have done in getting these promo's together.
I do think a larger prize pool for the High Roller leaderboard would attract more players, so it is a slight shame it is the smallest prize pool.
Having said that, there is a lot that Sky are doing right here, so I wouldn't want to be too critical.
Best of luck to all going for it, from the mini's to the main and the HR.

Hi Arrogant,
I'm just guessing, but I think that's a function of the number of runners the "High Roller" MTT's will get. With a £110 tag, & a Guarantee of £10,000 (£15,000 Sat & Sun), it will have, what, an average of 130 player per night?
The Main Leaderboard is for a £33 MTT with a £10,000 Guarantee, so that will likely attract around 350 entrants per night.
The Mini Leaderboard is for a £5.50 MTT with a £2,500 Guarantee, so will likely attract some 500 runners per night.
So there will be far fewer entrants in the High Roller Leaderboard.
Note that the High Roller Leaderboard only pays 10 places (the other 2 pay 30 places), which is for the same reason I guess.
This may be a silly question but, are the 3 tiers buy-ins staying the same every night? so... £5.50 low £33 medium £110 Hr or is will there be £50 ones...even though I don't know what tier that would fall into!...Think I just answered my own question Posted by JimiAls1
Hi Jim,
The Main (£33) & the Mini (£5.50) will be unchanged every night untiul 29th January.
The High Roller will be £110 every night.
You don't "fall in" to any Tier - you play any one, two or three tiers to suit yourself - there are effectively THREE different Promos running, & you can play all three.

Yep, I got it, was mainly wondering if the Buy in's change in anyway, which you have answered!

Didn't want to make a new thread just for this but...for the HR comps which start at 19:45 the all in satellites start at 8pm! That is a bit bizzare isn't it? Maybe that's how it's meant to be, but, usually they run half and hour before the comp in question. Posted by JimiAls1
The all in sats for this start at 7.30pm with the last one at 8.05pm. Incidentally, the latest 2 got the most runners.

You can of course contest ALL THREE Leaderboards.
Does that answer your question satisfactorily?
Please remember, you MUST OPT IN.
If you don't Opt In until tomorrow (Tuesday), any Bounties you take today WILL NOT COUNT.
Hi Dave,
I'm not aware of anyyone else having problems Opting In.

Ha, no, not really.
My mistake, have now edited my post.
Apologies.
It's the GUARANTEE that increases on Saturday & Sunday, from £10k to £15.
