OK, so I end up heads up in an £11 BH against my son Gary, Limp2Lose.
This is the first time I can recall this happening in an MTT that wasn't a satellite.
So there's a lot of family pride at stake, right?
Anyway, I raise with QTo and he calls.
THE FLOP: Kd, Jd, 8s
Gary checks and I bet my open ender, Gary calls.
THE TURN: 8h
Gary checks again, and I check behind.
THE RIVER: 2c
Gary checks again, so thinking he either had a missed draw or maybe a 2nd pair type hand, I decide to bet big (3/4's of the pot), and hopefully get him off the hand.
GARY goes ALL IN!
Obviously, I have to Fold.
HE HAS T9!
If I check behind on the river, I win the hand.
He then went on to completely crush me.
He's a beast that boy!
