    Nice one, will give some of these a go!

    Think Sky definitely missed a trick not having a PLO8 BH. There were 110 entrants between the 2 regular nightly games last night, pretty sure enough ploppers would have stumped up 20 quid for a one off UKOPS PLO8 BH game.

    At least there is 1 PLO8 MTT though and a leaderboard, small blessings and all that :)

    Would be cool if leaderboard winners who have no interest in vegas could have their prize changed to tournament tokens

    A question the the two high rollers:

    They are labelled as 'single rebuys'.  Does this mean a trad rebuy when you are busto, or a top up when below starting stack?  If the latter is there also an add-on?

    hello tikay, james,

    different to last ukops, i think that it is better not to exclude the high roller event in the points for total player.  three reasons...

    the high roller is included in the ukops festival schedule and there are numerous way to satellite into it.  it seems unnecessary to exclude it from the total player league.
     
    excluding it is counter-productive and weakens the ukops festival.

    the third reason to include it in the total player is in line with the quest to find the best player in all games.  already the festival has fast and slow games, freezeouts and bounty hunters, hold'em and omaha, small and large buy-ins, deep stacks etc.  the total player, the best player, is judged by play in all dimensions.  excluding just one in the basket of games is not the best thing to do.

    in my view, include the high roller this time.  we are seeking the "total player".

    I don't think it necessarily means there will, or will not.......

    Grandma Angell, in these spots, always said "if you eat your greens, your dreams will come true".

    I was never a buyer of that nonsense though.

    Would like to have a bash at the High Roller on the Tueday but seeing the 5k chips/12min blinds structure will most probably skip it.

    If it's not too late to change, AND you were feeling generous, could it get 10k/15min like Sunday Major/Main Event/Super High Roller please?

    Might be better to call it, "Single Re-entry".

    I believe that is the "correct" term.

    Although as long as everyone knows, that's the main thing.

    Case for: it's an event that only comes around once in a blue moon, and so imo deserves the better strcuture that the other prestigious events get. Would give it more of a special feel with more room to play. Some £1 and £2 games currently have this structure right?

    Presently, entry to the Main Event plus 50 beers out is a much more attractive option for 220 :)
