I was at York when he finished 2nd to Rivet.
No one can explain his lack lustre performance in the Racing Post Trophy. Perhaps he was over the top or maybe he paid for taking on the speedsters early. All I know is, that the long trip home from Doncaster was not a happy one!
He has grown over the winter and could not be in ruder health.
You would be taking a big chance, but is 40/1 not a risk/reward plum punt?
If as I hope he makes the frame, what are the chances his stable companion Make Time puts in a cracking performance in the Greenham at Newbury Saturday?
