eNTRY POST FOR TOMORROW UP with mine 2.20: DUKE OF FIRENZE ALREADY IN. Worried re top weight but last race at Chester bumped as he came out of stalls and twice stopped from making run still came home close 4th without being given a tough race . has also won on soft and over C & D. Praying he gets better luck this time and nothing at bottom of handicap is better than handicapper thinks. Posted by vaigret

Too early to say for sure, re Saturday, but almost certainly a no.
Lots of people will do the Jackpot on Saturday if it rolls over tomorrow.
However to follow our strategy of trying to cover 60% in each leg would be too expensive.
So I think we need to watch and hope for roll overs Friday and Saturday.
IF and it's a big IF, it does roll over to Sunday, we may well go for it then, although declared runners are not finalised yet.
But I think we can say Friday and Saturday are a NO-GO, and Sunday is likely GO if a roll over.
Currently there is a roll over of £19,455, I anticipate that probably another 12-15K will go in the pool tomorrow, totalling around the £34K mark if it rolls over.
If £34K rolls over then you can expect at least the same will be bet, making a pool of 70K if it rolls over Saturday too.
IF, big IF, as I said, it isn't won on Saturday and 70K rolls over, there would probably be anther 50k added, making it £120K to play for on Sunday (70K ish roll over, plus at least 50k bet)
Lots of if's and buts, figures probably conservative, but we'll see.
