In Response to Re: £1000 Banked... Now £1214 - £3000 Challenge : I really fancy Spieth to win but 5/1 is way too short, Ive gone with Stanley at 100/1 and Casey at 18/1 GIR looks to be the key stat here and thats what i focused on. Posted by jordz16
Copied your bet Jordz - Gr8 start 2 shots clear after 7 holes and 14.5 now on exchange -GL

fantastic start so far, hes certainly well suited to the course, it all depends whether he has the mental game for it.
Great start Stanley leading and Casey in 2nd, shame i backed Casey for 1st RL and not Stanley though! anyway thats another £72.50 for the kitty with Caseys place. £1276.50 Posted by jordz16[/QUO
yeah its bittersweet but gr8 tipping - Too early to lay Stanley off for me but will have a couple of little savers on other players -
Just 1 bet tonight. Elsnik to be carded 10/1.... only played 4 professional games and never been carded but hes playing CM and its a derby game and for that reason alone the price looks massive so 5pts
Didn't want to put the mockers on your Casey bet Jordz, but he never wins tournaments. Good for each way betting when he's in form, but I can't remember the last tourney he won (though I don't follow Golf religiously anymore). He's a bit like Lee Westwood in Majors, they just never win them.
Small profit on the week though, and I can't believe Carter-Vickers didn't score against us........ everyone else did!!!!!!!!!
Yeah Paul Casey did a Paul Casey, i wasnt surprised he didnt hold on but i was surprised by just how badly he played that final round for someone who looked pretty relaxed. but anyway thats another £55 into the kitty and another profitable week on the golf..
I havent looked at tonights footy yet as ive been out all day but will likely have a stab at something, i do fancy Arsenal to score a few.
Well golf was a disaster this weekend, better get the football bets back on track..
Really fancy Arsenal to win to nil at evs, but too short of a price for me,
Really fancy Lacazette to score another 2 goals but at 4/1 again thats too short for me to think its value
Instead gone for Proppper to be carded at 5/1 im sure the Brighton midfield will be chasing the ball for 90 mins which makes 5/1 for a CM to be carded look great value imo...
one bet im all over tonight is Hodson to be carded for NI at 9/1 (this price wont last long)!! thats a price that wont come round often given they are playing Germany ive gone 10 pts on that. but for the sake of the challenge I'll only count it as 5 to stick within the rules...
1 other cards bet i have gone for is Fletcher for Scotland at 5/1 gonna put the spare 31.50 on that to neaten the bankroll up.
Annoying yesterday with Hodson coming off at half-time and Fletcher coming off because of a head injury... just a bit of bad variance.
Only players odds i like in the Wales game is Ledley to be carded at 9/1, should be a nervy game for Wales and hes the stand out price.. Generally CM's and WB's pick up the most cards yet hes the biggest price player to be carded so i like it a lot...
I fancy Portsmouth to win to nil at 2/1 but price is a bit short for me...
But gillingham CM Bingham is 9/1 to be carded! and the Gills have made more fouls than any other team in the Lague so that looks great value.
in the same game Close is also 9/1 he is a DM so the prime position to pick up cards, so if Gillingham do perform better than expected then that has a great chance of landing.
ive got 5 points on Bingham. 4 points on Close, and 1point on Bingham and Close to be carded and Pompey to win to nil at 200/1
2 bets i love today... I fancy Portsmouth to win to nil at 2/1 but price is a bit short for me... That looks a bit ambitious Jordz. Probably would have copied it if i,d seen it in time
How are the season bets looking - Don,t know whats happened to Notts County after a gr8 week last week
Just watchin a bit of X- factor and only heard about 4 acts but this girl was gr8 - got a standing ovation, all the judges loved it and she,s through to 6 chair challenge. Am i behind with it as she,s 149/1

It certainly turned out to be too ambitious!
I have seen very little of X Factor, but i would be careful betting on outsiders as the final 12 will have already been decided so id say its likely anyone whos 100/1+ didnt make it through, but there is normally some sort of wildcard place available anyway..
The ones I thought ticked all the boxes were called The Cutkelvins, a trio of siblings, the female lead is having a 2nd shot at the big time, they seem like nice people. im sure they will have some sort of sad back story at some point. they are 16/1 so had a few quid on them.
