this is awful. be glad that villain had a FD and not a pair.
This was just before he "went to work" on the table!
I was shocked when he made the call. You raised one seat before the guy with the big stack, so straight away I was asuming small pocket pair or ace-rag at least. Then when you put in a continuation bet on the flop I was still thinking pocket pair and you wanted to see whether they were good. Then when he called you all in and showed the 44, I was amazed that he managed to call. He then said that was his first hand so had no table history, which made me think that this was even more of a fold!
Either way you got chips back and made the cash, knocking me out in the process, hitting runner runner hearts!!

I was on the same table. Saw the way hand was played and the way Lozza was playing, was just saying I was amazed he called as I had her on a pocket pair pre-flop then the flop. If that was my reading then I would be folding as my 44 was only beating 22/33 But that was my reading and he could have read it completely different.

lool yup, im so annoyed, i was 2nd with 30 players, then kept getin half decent hands so raisin it up, then someone wud go all in, so whittled me down to 60k, then i made corect read that someone made a play so i called for 90k pot pre flop with K9, he has J6 clubs, flop KA6 clubs LOL....i had 3k left, and got bak to 45k!!! haha, but then all in with AQ, caller has AK, and this time no outdraw , so finished 24th, and no big prize for me and no 5er consolation for u, sorry , but i'll c u around, hopefully on final table tonight!! haha gl
loza i doubt you play an ace like that though... and he probably dont think you have an 8... so what does that leave... a bluff ? i think that was an excellent call... if done so for the right reasons.

ok maybe, but late on in the tournament, no joke this paid 40 and 41 left it was bubble, and i think i would play an ace like that, why not? big pot anyway because of the blinds so wud be happy to pick it up, but in end, he did say he didnt think i had ace, maybe a bigger poketpair, and he sed "he had work to go to" lool, but anyway was a great call in end, when we flipped over i was laughin as iwasnt drawing dead lol! it would have been great if 5 dropped on river haha
In Response to Re: The Bluffers Club : which part was the bluff may i ask? u mean pre flop? Posted by loza666
preflop and then semi bluff with just about the best hand... tbh i dont really know why i posted it here or at all lol, i just love when you raise pre like that with suited cons and get paid off.

ok he obv didnt call for the right reasons then lol. if i was him though your shove on the turn would give it away that i could possibly make a hero call... doubt i would tho, but it gives me the opportunity and a possible clue.
