Viva Las Vegas - Best previous result from a sky player?

With one week to go until I fly out to Vegas to join up with the other lucky Viva Las Vegas package winners (getting rather excited now!), I was wondering what the previous best finish was from a Sky qualifier?

I only ever really play cash games so am a pretty big fish in terms of tournaments (note the careful managing of expectations here!), but it would be cool to know the current top dog from years gone by.

from memory, lolufold 23rd-ish for £300k-ish.

kidgirlgy did well too 200-ish for £30k-ish

Think you're right. The good lady (Sue?) was the highest 'sky qualifier'.

Not to take anything away from Redmond's amazing result, but ISTR he bought in himself.

Pretty sure it was Sue Norsden, aka KidGirlGy, in 2010 if we are talking Sky Poker qualifiers.

What about that Pokerbcity guy in i think it was '08? Came like 119th or 123rd or something. Watched that VLV thing countless times on 846 as it was at the time back in the day.

Think his real name was Will? Could be wrong though.

Good shout Andy - Will Brewin in 2008.

Best part of $42,000.

He did pretty well the very next year, finishing around 500th for around $25,000, too.

Really nice kid. Think he retired from poker shortly after.
