unreal, ive just won a spt package in a freeroll and cant go lol, what do i do

    So why did you enter?

    As far as I know, there's no cash alternative and its not transferable.

    The Promo Page states;


    "The Freeroll will award 1x entry into Day 1B, which commences at 2pm on Saturday 5th August. There will be no cash alternative for the SPT package won through the Freeroll. So make sure you're available on the 4-6th August before you play."

    To be fair, there is also cash prizes up for grabs too, assuming it was one of the Mission jobbies.

    Maybe sky could move every SPT player up a step and award the last SPT prize to the person who finished just below the SPT.

    The simple thing is you should not have played in the first place

    Dont understand the argument at all that the guy shouldnt have played in the 1st place.  Doesnt seem a sensible idea to not play the freeroll just because you cant make the event when theres cash prizes up for grabs aswell. If there were only seats up for grabs and no cash prizes then it wouldnt make sense to enter but thats not the case.

    If the seat isnt transferable then he can just take the £180 for the expenses and not turn up to the event dont see anything wrong with that at all. I think seats should be transferable then there wouldnt be an issue like this.

    My earlier reply was (sort of) incorrect, as I was referring to winning a SEAT.

    For a PACKAGE, it's essentially the same, (see below) except presumably he would still get the £180 expenses contribution.

    Based upon the T & C's, he loses the seat value if he does not turn up.


    "• A NLHE tournament buy in worth £200 + £20 taking place Friday 4th August 2017
    • £180 credited to your Sky Poker account, to use for booking travel and accommodation

    Please note: Players are not able to swap starting flights. If you qualify for this promotion you will be playing the Day 1A flight on Friday 4th August. There will be no option to transfer to Saturday 5th due to casino seating capacity. Please check your availability before participating in this promotion as no cash or alternative prize will be offered as compensation for any player who cannot play."

    thanks tikay, i wasn,t sure about rules lol my bad, only played as it was a freeroll and never dreamed of winning it, but did, i did win£275 as well as seat so i,ll see how it goes, thanks again.

    I totally agree all seats should be transferable, if you win a package good luck sell it on.
