Wrong horse

"Controversy reigned at Yarmouth when it was discovered that the Charlie McBride-trained Mandarin Princess, winner of the opening two-year-old race, was in fact stablemate Millie's Kiss.

The mistake was only discovered after the 50/1 outsider had overturned the 4/6 hot-pot Fyre Cay on her racecourse debut in the six-furlong novice auction stakes for juveniles".

Happened in the first race at Yarmouth, I had the 2nd in a double, Sky says they will pay out on the 2nd horse, so I hope the bookies that I bet with will do the same. It all sounds a bit dodgy to me.

If you read the full story it looks like a genuine mistake as complete checks and scans are carried out as standard after the race, as when the mistake was revealed.

How on earth can a mistake be made like that though?!

Great if you were on the 50/1 shot though!
