Just 30 minutes left for additions.

I am expecting a lot of NR's, so when this turns into the REMOVALS thread, if you can, it may be best to wait until tomorrow to make your selections, when we see how depleted the field is.

As it is a tough card, I will be asking the remover's team to REMOVE TWENTY, including at least TWO from each race.

I may reduce this number slightly tomorrow if there turns out to be several non-runners, but for now consider it 20.

Just seen weather forecast for tomorrow on BBC (usually very accurate) and Brighton and South East corner defo going to get hit with plenty of rain. It defo won't be Good to Firm.

Thanks for all the input fellas.

I agree, course form can be very useful at Brighton, as is a good jockey to negotiate the undulations and cross overs on the track.

Regarding the rain, it's not due to arrive in Brighton until about mid-day according to BBC weather, so we'll keep an eye on that.

Hi Wynne, Jonny Simpson is a NR, Lemon Drop is a NR, Wasm is a NR and Black Bess is a NR, but I am reducing the total removals to 16 anyway, so don't worry about replacing them.

I know it is too late for additions, but reading around and RP are tipping Pendo in the 3.20. Might be worth a market check.

A good prize for the level has attracted a competitive field. Lord Clenaghcastle and Helfire arrive on the up and are likely to have a big say, while the lightly raced Wasm would have to enter the reckoning if turning up here after Nottingham, but it might be worth taking a chance on PENDO at likely bigger odds. The John Best-trained 6yo, who has been runner-up on both previous runs at this venue, is back to the mark he scored off on AW in the spring and returns from a short break with his yard among the winners.[Andrew Sheret]
